As one of the newest members, Danielle Callahan is committed to supporting the mission and vision of Project Kennedy. As a breast cancer survivor herself, Danielle knows firsthand the importance of having a village behind her while fighting such a devastating disease. There is no way that she would have been able to get through this journey alone, which is what led her to accept such a call as this, being a part of Project Kennedy.

As an elementary school teacher of 11 years, Danielle‘s world was turned upside down after being diagnosed in December of 2023 with Stage 1, Triple Negative Breast Cancer. With the support of her family, friends, colleagues, and organizations like Project Kennedy, Danielle endured over 6 difficult months of chemotherapy, followed by reconstructive surgery. As someone who is usually always there for others, this immense amount of support allowed Danielle to focus solely on herself and her health. “It is important to me to be a living testimony of how having an amazing support system can help other cancer warriors and their loved ones continue in their fight!”

Danielle is honored to be part of Project Kennedy and help bring smiles to the faces of families during what can be such dark moments, while amplifying Kennedy’s efforts in spreading cancer awareness and offering much-needed support.
